The province of Benevento lives mainly on farming and food processing: Falanghina del Sannio and Aglianico del Taburno wines, olive oil from the hills, the torrone nougat of Benevento and San Marco dei Cavoti. Tourism follows the Lombard history of Santa Sofia, the spa at Telese and the places of Padre Pio in Pietrelcina.
Where work is based on deliveries from members, as in cooperative wineries and olive mills, software records what each member brings, at what quality and at what price. In confectionery workshops it helps plan production and handle orders from shops and supermarket chains.
In the Sannio many supply chains are made up of small producers joined in cooperatives or consortia. Keeping each member’s accounts, answering their questions and preparing paperwork for inspections needs clear tools that also work for people who don’t spend the day at a computer.
