Software house in Florence
For Florence companies we design software that follows the work as it really is: samples and production for luxury brands, rooms and services for hospitality, technical orders for industry.
We’ve already made more than 70 companies better
Behind the shop windows, a province that makes things
Beyond art tourism, the province of Florence has a solid industrial base: high-end leather goods and footwear around Scandicci and the Florentine area, clothing in the Empolese, pharmaceuticals, engineering and energy plant manufacturing. Then there are Chianti Classico, extra virgin olive oil and the Pitti Immagine fashion fairs.
For a leather goods workshop, software is how samples and production get scheduled, model variants get managed and the brand gets order status back. For a hotel or a tourist services agency, it brings bookings, staff and suppliers into one picture instead of three separate programs.
The University of Florence and research centres bring technical skills to an area where large groups and a great many small firms work side by side. The small ones, often suppliers of the large, receive ever more precise requests on quality, traceability and sustainability, and have to meet them without multiplying office work.
Some of our projects
Custom software services
From idea to release, built around the way your company works.
Process analysis
We start from a concrete case, such as a handbag sample collection or a group check-in at a hotel, and map who does what, with which tools and where information stalls.
Custom software
Production management for leather goods and footwear, platforms for hospitality and tourist services, tools for technical orders, integrated with your existing ERP, channel manager and accounting.
UX/UI Design
We design screens around the people using them at the cutting bench, at reception or on site, and validate them with clickable prototypes before development.
MVP
A new digital service, such as booking winery visits in Chianti or a supplier portal for the fashion chain, starts from a minimal version in the hands of the first users.
Digital that delivers concrete results in Florence
Webion works on shared metrics to turn investments into tangible returns.
Measurable goals
Before writing code we set the indicators with you: hours saved, errors avoided, response times.
Pragmatic innovation
We pick the technology that solves the problem, not the fashionable one, and bring it to production step by step.
Frictionless delivery
Short, frequent releases, tried by the people who will use them, so the software enters the company without stopping work.
Hypotheses, measures, learning
Every release comes with metrics and retrospectives to fine-tune the roadmap.
Analysis
We map processes with the people who live them every day and measure where time is lost.
Design
We draw flows and screens and test them with users before writing code.
Development
We release in short cycles: every cycle ends with a working version to try.
Evolution
After release we maintain the software and grow it with the company.
Across the Apennines, close at hand
Florence is a short trip from Modena, and we make use of it: analysis at your premises, tests with the people who will use the software and go-live days on site. The rest runs remotely, with frequent releases and a contact person who knows the project. After go-live we keep looking after the software, with maintenance and new work decided together.
Clients who improved their KPIs
Our collaboration brings measurable benefits in efficiency, revenue and user satisfaction.
Lower churn thanks to personalised experiences and targeted notifications.
More digital conversions through UX optimisation and multivariate testing.
More productive teams through automation and operational dashboards.
How we stay secure and traceable
A process that starts from metrics and ends with continuous improvement.
Controlled access
Every user sees and changes only what they are responsible for, and every action is logged.
Reviewed code
Code reviews, automated tests and up-to-date dependencies at every release.
Protected data
Backups, encryption and GDPR-compliant data handling, with clear rules on where data lives.
